Privacy policy
This policy covers the Image Harvest Chrome extension and this product website, published by NK Tools.
What the extension handles
Image Harvest reads image URLs, descriptions, dimensions, the selected page title and URL after you click its toolbar icon. The collection is held in Chrome session storage and the editor memory. It does not read your browser history or upload collections to NK Tools. Loading previews contacts the original image hosts; those hosts receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and may receive their existing cookies under browser rules. Export requests omit cookies and referrers. Image conversion and ZIP creation happen locally. Optional permission for selected HTTP/HTTPS image hosts is requested during export and may be retained by Chrome until you revoke it in extension settings. Use Clear this collection to remove the current collection. Session data is cleared when the browser session ends; scans over an hour old are removed when a new scan starts. Saved downloads remain wherever you chose to save them.
Why these permissions exist
| activeTab | Read the webpage you explicitly choose. |
| scripting | Discover images on that page. |
| storage | Hold your current collections in local browser session storage. |
| downloads | Save image files and ZIPs you request. |
| Optional image-host access | Retrieve selected image files from their source hosts after permission approval. |
